Logix Guru is looking for three (3) experienced EPIC Implementation resources to lead/assist in operational assessment, design, application build, testing, documenting, training and implementation of Epic Cadence for a client’s imaging centers. Epic will be required to integrate with GE Imagecast with scheduling, orders and result information. The resources will also be responsible to assist with operational support and troubleshooting as needed.
The distinct skill sets offered should be aligned to address three requirements:
1) EpicCare Implementation
2) Cadence / Prelude implementation / admin
3) Security / Production support
The position will allow for some remote / off site work, but the resource will be required to be onsite initially. Local candidates are preferred.
Required Skills: Epic Certification is preferred but strong experience may be acceptable.
• Strong experience with Epic Cadence, Prelude, and EpicCare Implementation (analyst build, functionality, solution and workflow design, and providing training).
• Ability to perform operational assessments and develop appropriate solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical staff.

General Responsibilities:
1. Work with radiology operations to identify operational workflows, identify appropriate solutions for implementing Epic scheduling, obtaining approval from operations and IT, defining timelines, application build, testing, training, implementation and post go-live support.
2. Provide documentation as warranted on workflows, build documentation, timeline and project plans, test scripts and outcomes.
3. Provides service to ISD client community, while protecting the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information through physical and electronic measures.
4. Assists with the design and documentation of system functional requirements in formats to facilitate the development of deliverables such as Request for Proposals and/or Information, custom development efforts, project based planning documents such as scope documents and client services communication.
5. Works with ISD staff, clients and/or vendors to evaluate, develop, and implement solutions including both packaged system solutions and custom development applications options.
6. Assures quality of information through business case and application level testing; validates test results to initial business needs.
7. Works with ISD staff, clients and/or vendor staff to deploy production applications.
8. Designs and documents system level, IS operations level, and end user level procedures to support business applications.
9. Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of production applications.
10. Candidate must be highly motivated to follow project management, systems/software processes, measurement disciplines, and process improvement (CMMI) to improve product and services quality to achieve business objectives.
11. Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
