HL7 Interface Analyst Needed ASAP

My client is looking for 3 HL7 Interface Analysts/ Developers!!!!!

 

Interface Analyst/Developer to gather interface requirements, develop specifications, code interfaces on an interface engine, test, and deploy interfaces to the client environments. Candidates must have at least 2 years experience with interface development.

 

Length of Engagement: 3 Month Contract to Hire Opportunity. This is a 40 hour per week position out of Pittsburgh, PA. All work must be performed on site.

 

Required Experience:

• Interface analyst/developer – 2 years experience

 

Skills:

• Able to gather interface requirements and write associated specification

• Understanding of HL7 transactions and protocol

• Experience using an interface engine

• Work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills; Must be able to work with a variety of client types – practice managers, technical implementers, and physicians.

• Good documentation skills

• Must be able to handle multiple assignments at the same time

 

Additional Experience preferred but not required:

• Familiarity with Physician Practice Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)

• Experience with IBM MQ

• Understanding of FTP

 

 

Specific Interface engine being used on this project is a Proprietary interface engine -Message Router.

Development environment: Development done on Message Router application using GUI point ‘n click tool similar to Visual Basic.

Sr. Java Developer Needed

Job Summary
The senior programmer is responsible for providing proficient programming services, defining technical requirements, developing and/or maintaining computer applications/systems, and providing services to meet client IT and business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Converts documented client needs/business processes into program code following established standards and practices
  • Documents applications/systems in order to define the technical processes that have been used to solve the client needs/business processes of an application or system using documentation deliverables such as written descriptions, flowcharts, or segments of IS standard documentation
  • Provide technical support skills to evaluate software code in order to define the associated process or identify fault producing conditions
  • Works with IS staff, and/or vendors to evaluate, develop, and implement technical solutions including both packaged system solutions and custom development applications options
  • Responsible for delivery of software products and services within budget and target delivery date
Basic Qualifications
  • Typically has completed a four-year academic degree including courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering OR has acquired core IT skills and knowledge via practical experience
  • Proficiently applies IT methods, professional knowledge, and standards and practices
  • Intuitively grasps familiar, stable system performance situations
  • Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response
  • Recognizes subtle problems with system design or performance and acts appropriately to improve the condition, seeking validation of actions in advance as appropriate
  • Effective in relationships with business partners, professional peers, and other team members
  • Coaches less experienced IT professionals
  • Advanced experience in application development encompassing design, development, maintenance, support, and enhancement of applications using Java is highly desired
  • Experience with SQL, PowerBuilder, and other object oriented programming languages is also preferred
  • 4+ Years of Java development experience is required
